Along the way, I got lost, met new travellers by accident, explored hidden streets, and eventually found one of the most beautiful swimming spots I’ve seen in Italy — Bagni della Regina Giovanna. Pompeii is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world, preserved after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Located near Naples, it offers a glimpse into ancient Roman life frozen in time. Nearby, the Amalfi Coast is known for its dramatic cliffs, turquoise water, hidden beaches, and scenic towns like Sorrento, which attract travellers from around the world.
